2026 Baxter Brewing Ball & Chain Scramble

The Baxter Brewing Ball & Chain Scramble powered by Circle 1 returns on October 18, 2026, bringing one of the most unique tournament experiences in New England back to Fairlawn Golf Course.

This event is the perfect combination of golf and disc golf. Teams of four, made up of two golfers and two disc golfers, will compete over 18 holes as each discipline plays its own scramble format before combining scores to determine the team’s total. Success takes more than skill. Building the right team is part of the challenge and requires balance. Do you prioritize distance, putting, consistency, or simply four people who will make five hours on the course unforgettable?

Players will compete for a $3,600 cash purse, with $2,000 awarded to the winning team, while every participant will receive a premium Circle 1 player pack. Live scoring will keep the competition updated in real time and provide enhanced sponsor visibility throughout the event.

The excitement doesn’t stop there. Golfers and disc golfers will each have a chance at a $10,000 Hole-In-One, and one lucky player will earn the opportunity to sink a putt for $10,000 in the Putt for Dough finale.

Following valuable feedback from last year’s event, the temporary disc golf course has been redesigned to create an even better competitive experience. Expect more strategic out-of-bounds, island holes, and required shot placement.
