This May, Every Coastal Haze Gives Back to the Land We Love

Androscoggin Land Trust May Charity Partner

At Baxter, we have always believed that Maine is not just where we brew. It is what we brew for. This May we are proud to partner with the Androscoggin Land Trust and put our beer behind a cause that protects the trails, rivers, and wild places that make life here worth living.

For the entire month of May, $1 from every Coastal Haze poured on draft at the pub goes directly to the Androscoggin Land Trust.

Who is the Androscoggin Land Trust?

The Androscoggin Land Trust has been protecting the natural landscapes, wildlife habitat, and outdoor recreation opportunities of the Androscoggin River watershed for years. They conserve thousands of acres of land, maintain community trail systems used year-round, and work to ensure that Maine’s forests, farms, and waterways are here for the generations that come after us.

What sets ALT apart is their belief that conservation is not just environmental work. It is community infrastructure. Clean water, healthy forests, and accessible trails improve public health, support local economies, and give people a place to gather and breathe. Their Beyond Adaptive program takes that mission one step further by breaking down barriers to outdoor access, creating welcoming experiences for people of all abilities, backgrounds, and experience levels.

This is the kind of organization that does not just talk about loving Maine. They show up for it.

Why Coastal Haze?

Coastal Haze is a beer built for the outdoors. Hazy, bright, and made for the kind of day that ends with tired legs and a great view. It felt like the right fit for a partnership rooted in getting outside and protecting the places that make it possible.

Come Meet the ALT Team

On Monday, May 5th from 5 to 7pm, the Androscoggin Land Trust is setting up at the pub. Come in, grab a Coastal Haze, meet the people behind the conservation work, and learn how you can get involved. Whether that means volunteering on a trail, attending a guided walk, or simply spending more time outside on conserved land, every connection to the work matters.

The beer is cold, the cause is good, and the trails are waiting.
