Lewiston Strong: Baxter Brewing Gives Back to the Maine Resiliency Center

At Baxter Brewing, Lewiston is more than where we brew our beer. It’s our home. It’s where our community comes together, supports one another, and shows what it means to be Maine strong.

This October, we’re proud to support the Maine Resiliency Center by donating $1 from every draft pour of Baxter Oktoberfest sold at The Pub at Baxter throughout the month.

The Maine Resiliency Center was established following the tragic events of October 25, 2023, in Lewiston. In the wake of unimaginable loss, the Center became a place of connection, healing, and support for those affected by the tragedy.

Today, the Center continues to provide free resources, trauma-informed support, and a welcoming space for individuals, families, first responders, and community members impacted by that day. Its work serves as an important reminder that healing takes time and that no one should have to navigate it alone.

As a brewery rooted in Lewiston, giving back to the community that has supported us over the years is incredibly important to us. We’re grateful for the work the Maine Resiliency Center continues to do and for the opportunity to contribute to its mission.

Throughout October, every pint of Baxter Oktoberfest poured at The Pub at Baxter will help support this meaningful cause.
