If you ever enjoyed our original, heavy–hitting Double IPA, Bootleg Fireworks, you can imagine how difficult it was to even attempt to fill its shoes. Not only was Bootleg heralded for its complex flavor profile, its distinct label was celebrated from the northern reaches of Aroostook County to the south shore of Massachusetts. In its stead we needed a beer equally as explosive in both flavor and concept. Enter Gopher It: a triple IPA designed to meet the expectations of our dedicated Baxter consumer, and grab the attention of hazy NEIPA fans. We took some innovative items including cryo-processed hops and distillates, and placed them on a plush cloud of wheat and oats to make a high-impact flavor bomb. 
At 8.8% ABV this beer drinks richly smooth with huge citrus notes and undertones of dank hops. Packed full of Australian varietals Vic Secret and Galaxy, Gopher It provides a banquet of underlying fruit flavors to compliment the citrus from the Mosaic. This flavor–packed liquid is fermented using a hazy yeast strain that was brought in just for this beer. It has since been used on other great Baxter brands such as Hop Science and #NameME.
